EPE-5818Gaf adopts LTC4263 that has both functions of Power over Ethernet and Power Sourcing Equipment. This product can easily extend the wired connection distance through the ethernet cable which avoids long power line that may be dangerous to people. EPE-5818Gaf is compliant with 802.3af PoE solutions, it offers 48V/0.375A power supply with standard pin definition of Ethernet cable. Pin#1,2,3 and 6 with data transmission; pin # 4,5,7 and 8 with power enabled to device.
The EPE-5818Gaf generates safe power over category 5 cabling. By sending 48V, Ethernet terminals such as wireless LAN access points, IP phones, and web cameras are powered remotely. It is especially designed for outdoor networking facility and low port density installations.
