16-port Gigabit EzSwitch Unmanaged Switch (Rack Mount)
SMC introduces the latest gigabit switches to the EZ Switch 10/100/1000 family – SMCGS16 and SMCGS24. These switches provide gigabit Ethernet connectivity from the network backbone all the way to the edge of the network and to individual desktops. Up to 10 times the speed of 100Mbit networks, these switches reduce transfer times of large data files and bandwidth intensive applications, thereby enhancing overall network performance significantly. That makes these switches worthy investment in the long run. Jumbo frame support has also been included to enable data packets up to 9K to be forwarded to allow for more efficient data transfer. The SMC EZ Switches are easy to install and an ideal solution for network migration, as they are equipped with 10/100/1000 auto-MDIX ports.
